Effective for use of Slackroid Marketplace (backup.slackroid.com)
This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy, and Terms of Use for access or usage of Slackroid Marketplace platform – backup.slackroid.com (hereinafter referred to as “Platform”).
The Platform is owned by Slackroid, co-powered by Slackroid and registered subject to the provisions of the GST Act and rules.
Your use of Slackroid Marketplace and its services and tools are governed by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”) as applicable to the Platform including the applicable policies which are incorporated herein by way of reference. By mere use of the Platform, You shall be contracting with Slackroid, the owner of the Platform. These terms and conditions including the policies constitute Your binding obligations with Slackroid Marketplace.
Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms of Use, wherever the context so requires “You” or “User” shall mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a buyer or seller on the Platform by providing Registration Data while registering on the Platform as a Registered User using the computer systems. The terms “We”, “Us”, “Our” shall mean Slackroid and its affiliates.
Amendment Provision
Slackroid Marketplace continuously reviews and updates its Terms of Use to ensure they are current and effective. The latest version of these terms is always accessible on our website. Slackroid Marketplace has the authority to modify, amend, or overhaul any portion of these terms by posting the revisions on the platform. Such changes become effective immediately once they are published.
Continued use of the platform after updates signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
User Account, Password & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. Slackroid Marketplace shall not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.
Failure to provide accurate information or comply with registration obligations may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice. Inactive accounts for a period of two years may be removed along with associated data.
Services Offered
Slackroid Marketplace provides an online platform enabling users to buy and sell original merchandise including clothing, footwear, and accessories. Transactions are governed by platform policies including cancellation, exchange, and return policies.
Product descriptions are provided by sellers and Slackroid Marketplace does not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
Platform Role
Slackroid Marketplace is a facilitator and does not participate in transactions between buyers and sellers. Contracts for sale are strictly between buyers and sellers on a principal-to-principal basis.
User Conduct
Users must not upload or transmit unlawful, harmful, misleading, infringing, or abusive content, engage in fraudulent activity, misuse platform services, or violate applicable laws.
GST & Tax Compliance
Users are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable GST and tax laws. Slackroid Marketplace bears no tax liability arising from user transactions.
Payments, Refunds & Fees
Payments are facilitated through authorized payment gateways. Refunds are processed as per platform policies and applicable laws. Platform fees may be charged and modified at Slackroid Marketplace’s discretion.
Replacement & Exchange Policies
Replacement and exchange eligibility varies by category and seller. Products must meet stated conditions to qualify for replacement or exchange.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slackroid Marketplace from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of applicable laws.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Bangalore shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
